Terra Cotta Warrior

3.5th Edition
This spell turns an innocuous statuette of decoration and devotion into a full-sized warrior, ready to fight your foes.   The statuette becomes a Medium animated object (Medium construct, 35 hp, AC 14, hardness 6, speed 40 ft., attack slam +2, damage 1d6+1) that attacks a specified target on your turn as directed by you.   You can change the designated target as a move action (as if directing an active spell).   The statuette can be reused if the terra cotta warrior remains intact at the end of the spell, but if the warrior is reduced to 0 or fewer hit points, it crumbles to powder and the statuette is lost.   See page 13 of the Monster Manual for full information on animated objects, but the terra cotta warrior has none of the given attack forms.   Focus: A terra cotta statue of a warrior, up to 6 inches tall and costing 1 gp.

5th Edition
You touch a small terra cotta statue, transforming it into a Medium Construct animated by your command in an unoccupied space adjacent to you. The statue grows into a full-sized warrior formed of hardened clay and obeys your spoken commands, which can be issued as a bonus action.   At the end of the spell's duration, the warrior reverts to its statuette form if it has any hit points remaining. If reduced to 0 hit points, it shatters into powder and is destroyed.

Mindless. This creature has no Intelligence score (Treat it as having a +0 for saving throws required of it) and so is immune to Psychic damage and Mind-Affecting effects. It automatically fails any Intelligence check it needs to make.   Construct Traits. This creature is immune to Mind-Affecting effects, Sleep effects, Disease, Death effects, any Necromancy effect, any effect that requires a Constitution saving throw, Critical Hits (Unless the attack is from an adamantine weapon), Nonlethal Damage, any effect that would reduce its ability scores, and death from massive damage. As a construct, it cannot heal damage on their own, but can typically be repaired by exposing them to a certain kind of effect or through the use of certain magics. A construct with any form of Regeneration still benefits from that quality.   Immutable Form. The terra cotta warrior is immune to any spell or effect that would alter its form.

Actions

Slam. Melee Attack Roll: +3, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 ( 1d6+2 ) Bludgeoning damage.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a higher level spell slot, the warrior's hit points increase by 10 for each slot level above its base level and its Slam damage increases by 1d6 for every 2 slot levels above its base level.
