Shared Flame

5th Edition
You bind your life force to one creature you can see within range with a cursed thread of fire. Whenever you take damage, the target must make a Constitution saving throw, taking half as much damage as fire damage on a failure. At the start of each of the target's turns, you and the target each take 1d8 fire damage.

This is a rare option

This option requires special permission to take. In the case of spells, psionic powers, and similar options, this option must be found in the world and cannot be taken upon level-up.

Somatic Components

You begin by clenching your dominant hand over your heart, drawing a magical ember from within. With the other hand, you draw a sigil in the air between you and your target—three spiraling curves that loop into a knot of flame. Then, in one sweeping motion, you thrust both hands toward the target, palm-first, as though flinging the burning thread that binds your fates together.
