Reality Revision

5th Edition
Reality revision lets you create nearly any type of effect. For example, reality revision can do any of the following:
  • Duplicate any psionic power, provided the power is not prohibited to you.
  • Duplicate any psionic power of 4th order or below, even if it is a power that is prohibited to you.
  • Undo the harmful effects of spells of 9th level or lower, or of other powers of 6th order or lower.
  • Create a mundane item of up to 25,000 gp in value. The object can be no more than 300 feet in any dimension, and it appears in an unoccupied space you can see on the ground.
  • You allow up to twenty creatures you can see to regain up to 200 Hit Points.
  • Bring a dead creature back to life as per a Resurrection spell. This power can revive a dead creature whose body has been destroyed, but the task takes two manifestations of reality revision—one to recreate the body and another to infuse the body with life again.
  • This power can lift up to ten willing creatures from anywhere on any plane and place those creatures anywhere else together on any plane regardless of local conditions.
  • You undo a single recent event by forcing a reroll of any roll made within the last round (including your last turn). Reality reshapes itself to accommodate the new result. For example, a reality revision power could undo an opponent’s successful save, a foe’s Critical Hit, or a friend’s failed save. You can force the reroll to be made with Advantage or Disadvantage, and you can choose whether to use the reroll or the original roll.
You can try to use reality revision to produce more powerful or different effects than these, but doing so is dangerous. The manifestation may pervert your intent into a literal but undesirable fulfillment or only a partial fulfillment. This power might simply fail, the effect you desire might only be partly achieved, or you might suffer some unforeseen consequence as a result of how you worded your will. For example, desiring that a villain were dead might propel you forward in time to a period when that villain is no longer alive, effectively removing you from the game. Similarly, desiring a legendary magic item or artifact might instantly transport you to the presence of the item’s current owner.   Creating any effect other than duplicating another power causes immense strain on your body, mind, and soul. Each time you use the power for such a use, you gain 1 Strain permanently. This Strain cannot be removed by anything short of a Wish spell or similar. You can use reality revision to remove the Strain, but only a single point, and doing so causes you to gain another. This can be used to move it to a different type of Strain, but is otherwise useless.   The power of reality revision is so great that once you use it, you must take a Long Rest before you can do so again.

This is a rare option

This option requires special permission to take. In the case of spells, psionic powers, and similar options, this option must be found in the world and cannot be taken upon level-up.
