For the duration, you know your distance and direction relative to your location when you manifested this power, even if you cannot see it or if you are on a different plane of existence. Additionally, if you must retrace your steps - in a maze, for instance - you can accurately recall the path you have traveled, as you can use your point of origin as a reference to guide you.
