Protection from Chaos

Source: Elaris - Complete Divine

Effect

5th Edition
Until the spell ends, one willing creature you touch is protected against chaotic-aligned creatures. The creature gains the following benefits against chaotic-aligned creatures:
  • Chaotic-Aligned creatures have disadvantage on attack rolls against the target, and the target has advantage on all Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma saving throws against effects caused by Chaotic-Aligned creatures or Chaotic spells.
  • The target can't be charmed, frightened, or possessed by chaotic-aligned creatures. If the target is already charmed, frightened, or possessed by such a creature, the target has advantage on any new saving throw against the relevant effect.
  • This spell prevent bodily contact by summoned chaotic-aligned creatures, causing natural weapons such as claw and bite attacks to fail against the target. This effect ends if the target makes an attack against such a creature or tries to force the barrier against such a creature.

Somatic Components

The caster pours powdered silver into a ring around the target, then sweeps one hand upward in a spiral while the other draws a steady line across the heart or brow. As the circle closes, both hands come together in front of the chest, sealing the ward with deliberate stillness.
