You erupt a fan of liquid magma. Each creature in a 15-foot cone must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 2d4 fire damage and 2d4 bludgeoning damage and is treated as being Grappled for the duration, or half as much damage and not Grappled on a success. The creature can make a Strength (Athletics) check at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of a higher level, increase both the fire and bludgeoning damage by 1d4 for each slot level above its base level.
