Metalshaping

5th Edition
You choose an unattended metal object you can see or a piece of raw metallic ore you can see that fits within a 5-foot cube. You manipulate it in one of the following ways:
  • Soften Metal. You briefly soften rigid metal, allowing it to be bent, twisted, or reshaped by hand for 1 hour. This does not make it easier to break, just to bend and reshape. The metal returns to its original hardness afterward.
  • Polish or Tarnish. You can clean, brighten, dull, rust, or discolor a metal surface, altering its appearance. This rusting and dulling is not enough to lower the effectiveness of the item.
  • Reshape Surface. You create superficial engravings, ridges, or embossing across the metal's surface, including simply symbols, scripts, or patterns.
  • Temperature Shift. You warm or cool the metal to a comfortable, harmless temperature.
  • Resonant Hum. You cause a faint harmonic vibration within the metal for 1 hour, audible only within 10 feet.
