When a willsurger succumbs to wrath, they do not merely lose control—they become control. Their presence ignites tempers, sparks conflict, and unchains the brutal honesty buried beneath social masks. Willsurgers of this ideal do not seek peace, only catharsis. To them, wrath is not a flaw but a sacred fuel—something to be stoked, honed, and finally unleashed. Many are warriors of grim justice, delivering vengeance with psychic precision; others are wild-eyed avatars of destruction, burning bright and fast in battle after battle. Whatever their cause, Idealized Wrath Willsurgers are a storm given flesh, and they demand the world yield to their fire.
Violent Empathy
3rd-Level Willsurger (Idealized Wrath) Feature
Whenever a creature within your Empathic Range takes damage from a weapon attack or spell, you can use your reaction to force that creature to make a Charisma saving throw. On a failure, it becomes overwhelmed by a spike of violent emotion, and must immediately use its reaction (if available) to make a melee weapon attack against a creature of your choice within its reach. If no valid target exists, the creature instead suffers psychic backlash, taking 1d6 psychic damage which increases as shown in the Ardent Surge column of the Willsurger table.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Willsurger Power Reservoir, regaining all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Wrathful Surge
3rd-Level Willsurger (Idealized Wrath) Feature
When you use your Ardent Surge feature, the target gains a bonus to their damage rolls equal to the number of d6s you rolled until the start of your next turn.
Aura of Carnage
6th-Level Willsurger (Idealized Wrath) Feature
While you are conscious,
Bloodied creatures that start their turn within your Empathic Range must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, the creature cannot willingly move away from you unless you allow it.
Whenever a creature within your Empathic Range is reduced to 0 hit points, you may use your reaction to move up to half your speed and make a weapon attack or manifest a 1st-Order Willsurger Power targeting a hostile creature.
Ragebound Will
14th-Level Willsurger (Idealized Wrath) Feature
While
Bloodied, you have advantage on saving throws against any effect that would cause you to be
Frightened,
Paralyzed,
Petrified,
Restrained, or
Restrained.
Additionally, once per round when you take damage from a creature within your Empathic Range, you may deal psychic damage to that creature equal to your Charisma modifier.
Wrath Given Flesh
18th-Level Willsurger (Idealized Wrath) Feature
Your fury becomes an emotional tempest. While you are not incapacitated, any time you use Ardent Surge, all creatures of your choice within your Empathic Range must make a Charisma saving throw. On a failure, the creature takes psychic damage equal to the dice rolled for your Ardent Surge, cannot take reactions until the start of your next turn, and the next attack against the creature is made with advantage.
