Hypnosis

You attempt to beguile a creature you can see and that can see your eyes with an Intelligence score of 4 or higher that is either willing or Restrained.   The creature must make a Wisdom Saving Throw; if it fails, it is Charmed by you. This power has several functions and you must choose which one you will use when you manifest this power. The effect lasts the duration or until the creature is no longer Charmed.   Deprogramming. If the target is Charmed or Frightened, or suffering from Insanity, you may release the target from that condition or effect. You can also use this to deprogram a creature suffering from non-supernatural brainwashing. The duration of such a use is Instantaneous.   Memory Recovery. If the target's memories have been altered or erased, either through mundane means (including forgetfulness) or by the Modify Memory spell or similar effect, you restore the original memory. The duration of such a use is Instantaneous.   Phantasmal Harm. You can cause the target to believe that it is being harmed. At the beginning of its turn, it takes your choice of 1d10, 2d10, or 3d10 Psychic damage. If the target falls to 0 Hit Points, it may make a Wisdom Saving Throw. On a success, it instead drops to 1 Hit Points and falls Unconscious for 1d4 Hours or until it takes harm. The duration of such a use is Concentration; Up to 1 Minute.   Rejuvenation. You can remove 1 level of Exhaustion from the target. A creature may only benefit from this effect once, regaining the ability to be affected when they finish a long rest. The duration of such a use is Instantaneous.   Suggestion. You implant a mental manipulation into the creature's subconscious, as per the Suggestion spell with the following changes:
  • You can instruct the creature to perform an action that is self-destructive or that violates its Alignment. If you do so, however, the target makes a second Saving Throw when the manipulation is triggered; if it succeeds, it will snap out of it before taking the course of action.
  • Once the creature has completed your manipulation, it will have no conscious memory of its actions. The memory can be recovered using the memory recovery version of this power.
The duration of such a use is 1 Week. If you manifest this version of hypnosis on the same creature every day for 10 days, the manipulation instead lasts for 1 Month. If you manifest it every day for 30 days, the manipulation instead lasts for 1 Year.   Truth-Telling. You may ask the target a number of questions equal to twice your Manifesting Ability Modifier. The target will answer them as truthfully as it can, although not necessarily fully or coherently.
