Gem Dragons are enigmatic beings of psionic brilliance and inner balance, dwelling at the crossroads of matter and thought. Unlike their chromatic and metallic kin, gem dragons are born from the raw psychic potential of the multiverse and embody facets of reality such as clarity, introspection, foresight, and the unity of mind and soul. Clerics who follow this domain are rare, as most gem dragons do not encourage worship in the traditional sense. Rather, they tolerate devoted mortals who pursue the perfection of mind, spirit, and psionic harmony.
Deities who grant this domain are often aloof or abstract, more likely to commune through visions and impulses than words. Some are gem dragons who have ascended into godhood; others are silent contemplatives on the edge of reality, whose influence ripples through psychic resonance. Their followers tend to be wise, cryptic, and intensely focused—often traveling in solitude, searching for inner truth, or unlocking the hidden potential of others. They excel at mental manipulation, protective wards, and subtle guidance, using their gifts not for conquest but for revelation.
Domain Spells
1st-Level Cleric (Gem Dragon Domain) Feature
You gain the following spells at the listed cleric levels as domain spells.
Psionic Disciple
1st-Level Cleric (Gem Dragon Domain) Feature
You gain proficiency in Psionics, and you learn the
Mage Hand cantrip. It does not count against your cantrips known. When you cast Mage Hand, it is invisible.
In addition, your spells and abilities can pierce the minds of even the most alien creatures. You can target creatures with the
Charmed or
Frightened condition even if they are immune, though they have advantage on the saving throw. Once a creature succeeds on such a saving throw, they become immune to this feature for 24 hours.
Channel Divinity: Mindshatter
2nd-Level Cleric (Gem Dragon Domain) Feature
You can use your Channel Divinity to assault a creature's psyche with pure psionic force.
As an action, choose one creature within 60 feet. That creature must make an Intelligence saving throw. On a failed save, it takes psychic damage equal to 2d10 + your cleric level and is stunned until the end of your next turn. On a successful save, it takes half damage and isn’t stunned.
Psychic Mirror
6th-Level Cleric (Gem Dragon Domain) Feature
When a creature within 30 feet of you forces you or an ally to make a saving throw against an
Enchantment or
Illusion spell or effect, you can use your reaction to turn the magic back on the caster. The originator must make the same saving throw as the original target or suffer the effect instead. If the spell targets multiple creatures, the redirection only affects the target you choose.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Cleric Power Reservoir, regaining all expended uses on a long rest.
Potent Spellcasting
8th-Level Cleric (Gem Dragon Domain) Feature
You add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip you cast.
Unbreakable Will
17th-Level Cleric (Gem Dragon Domain) Feature
You emit a psionic aura that stabilizes thought and enhances clarity. You gain the following benefits:
- You and allies within 30 feet of you are immune to the charmed and frightened conditions and have resistance to psychic damage.
- You can cast Telekinesis once without expending a spell slot. You cannot do so again until you finish a long rest.
- When you roll initiative and have no uses of Channel Divinity remaining, you regain one use.
