Forgeburst

5th Edition
You alter a small lump of metal into a volatile, heat-forged charge, and hurl it at a point you can see within range. Each creature within 10 feet of that point must make a Dexterity Saving Throw, taking 1d6 Piercing damage on a failed save, or half as much on a success. Creatures within 5 feet additionally take 2d6 Fire damage, or half as much on a successful saving throw. The metal shards impart any special properties of the metal that forms them; for instance, cold iron shards deal additional damage to creatures with weakness to cold iron.   At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a higher level spell slot, increase the Piercing and Fire damage by 1d6 for each slot level above its base level.
