Empathic Transfer
5th Edition
You wrap your vital life force around your psionic energy, projecting it forth toward a willing or Unconscious creature, transferring some of its damage to yourself. The creature regains 3d8 Hit Points, and you lose Hit Points equal to half that amount. This loss cannot be reduced in any way.
Additionally, you can transfer 1 disease or poison affecting the target onto yourself. Any remaining duration is retained when it is transferred to you.
Increased Order. When you manifest this power, you can increase its order by 1 to transfer 1 of the following conditions affecting the target to yourself: Bleeding, Blinded, Charmed, Dazed, Fixated, or Frightened.
You can increase its order by 2 to transfer 1 of the following conditions affecting the target to yourself: Confused, 1 level of Exhaustion, Muted, Paralyzed, Petrified, Stunned, or Unconscious so long as the Unconscious condition is not the result of being at 0 Hit Points.
Regardless of the number of orders you increase this power by, you can only transfer a single condition per manifestation.
If you transfer the Charmed, Dazed, Fixated, Frightened, Confused, Stunned, or Unconscious conditions, this power gains the Mind-Affecting Descriptor.
This is a rare option
This option requires special permission to take. In the case of spells, psionic powers, and similar options, this option must be found in the world and cannot be taken upon level-up.
