Eclipsing Curse

5th Edition
You blot out the target's light with a creeping shadow of ill fate. One creature you can see in range must make a Charisma saving throw. On a failure, it becomes Cursed for 1 minute (Save ends at end of turn). While cursed, the creature has disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks made in bright light, and takes 2d6 necrotic damage at the start of each of its turns while it is in direct sunlight or in the effects of a Daylight spell.

Somatic Components

You draw your fingers together over your eyes, mimicking the closing of a curtain, then twist your hands outward in a crescent shape. As you speak the final words, you sweep your arms wide and then inward toward the target in a spiraling motion, as if pulling an unseen veil of darkness down upon them. A faint shimmer of shadow clings to your fingertips as the curse takes hold.
