You conjure a lance of pure arcane energy in your hand and make a ranged spell attack against a creature you can see within range. On hit, the target takes 5d4 force damage.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd-level or higher, the damage increases by 2d4 for each slot level above 1st.

This option requires special permission to take. In the case of spells, psionic powers, and similar options, this option must be found in the world and cannot be taken upon level-up.
