Red Circle Electric Eel Reef - Archienite deposits. DISCOVERY OF ARCHIENITE. Odette Guldmast Artificer put a notice on the tavern 2 days ago asking for an adventuring party to help locate the source of a strange mineral found on the beach in a near by cove. A brave team of 4 adventures answered the call. Kryshyre the Shadarkai Warlock, Lagugh water genasi rouge, Reycaryn Yuan-ti fighter and Cloud Ember the shifter bard. After meeting at Odette's workshop they met Odette and her adopted son & apprentice 14yo Archie. They explained that Archie found this very smooth light blue rock on the beach and after they did some testing on it discovered that it is a very useful material potentially for us with magic, medical and even building components. Odette asked the adventures to seek out the source of this material and bring some more samples back if they can. Archie insisted on going with them as it was his discovery. Odette asked Lagugh to please watch out for Archie due to his inexperience and age to which he agreed. Odette sent them on their way with a healing potion each and a necklace of water breathing (use is once per short rest). Archie took them to the point in the cove where he first found the rock and while they did not find anymore of the mineral Reycaryn discovered what be believed be a reef close by under water. The party donned their necklaces of water breaking but lucky for them Lagugh being a Water Genasi did not need one ! Reycaryn had a difficult slower journey being that he was wearing heavy armour, stealthy he was not ! Lagugh and Kryshyre investigated the incredible and vibrant reef and strange cracking noises were heard near an anemone. On Investigation Archie found more small pebbles of Archienite at the same site of the noise.
  Being cautious and worried about safety Cloud Ember used his magical abilities to speak with an octopus near by whilst using his cloak of many fashions to semi disguise himself as a large furry octopus. Clyde the elderly Octopus was confused by Cloud Ember's appearance but spoke with him anyway and was very confused by the questions. What is ROCK? What is Magic? Not knowing what magic was Clyde wasn’t much help but he did warn them of mouth monsters (Sharks). Continuing on the party were all very attentive to keep Archie safe despite Archie running off several times to investigate things but he always had someone with him, protecting him as promised. As they continued the brave and stealthy Lagugh and Kryshyre found a coral feeding ground of some electric eels. Cloud Ember bought Clyde along with him which in hindsight may not have been the best plan as the eels were trying to attack the octopus perched on Cloud Embers Head. After Kryshyre and Reycaryn killed two of the three electric eels Archie did some looking around and discovered a cave assuming it was there home. Cloud Ember made the discovery of what Archienite was after holding a fresh deposit in his hands, it is the excrement of electric eels. Reycaryn used his Yuan-Ti ability to speak with the remaining eel and asked questions and tried to convince it to come back with them, it was not convinced. Lagugh then caught the eel and, aided by Reycaryn wrapped it in a very wet bedroll. The group headed back to shore and back to Odette and Archie’s workshop. After arriving Odette had them sit by the fire to warm up with some tea while she put the eel in water and did some quick testing of their discoveries for answers. On returning Odette declares she will confirm with Guild Arch Druid Aundi but, Odette believes that the lightening eels upon consuming, digesting and defecating out the coral the have changed it’s composition due to their bodies lightening charges. She thanked the party and offered for them to keep the necklaces, gave them each 100 GP and told them if there are any items they need crafted or infusions they may require in the future to please let her know and she will happily supply such brave explorers with whatever it is they need
