Guild Report - SL - Whispers of the Heart
General Summary
Following the guild recieving word from delilah copperstone of an abnormal situation several adventurers headed into the town to investigate. after some discussion the adventurers learned of 5 new women in town. One of whom married an influential elder. The Adventurers investigated these women, learning quite a bit about them in the process.
The first was a tutor in town, in her home they found a ritual circle alongside a number of papers in infernal. upon asking the local bard the texts were translated into strange observations about one of the minor nobles in Ironbridge. the Barmaid and Blacksmith apprentice who were also suspects proved to not have any evidence.
Upon investigating a travelling alchemist they learned the local men seemed infatuated with her, likely due to a strange herb she mixed into her potions. they also learned a local secretary was acting oddly but upon investigating she was sneaking off to her girlfriend, one of the town guards.
The Party proceeded to the tutor's home where the Barmaid and the tutor were found, ambushing them only for both to vanish, suddenly making their way to the etherial plane. the Artificer suddenly got the urge to visit the Inn and they made their way back there, finding the Barmaid sitting in her room. with a little interrogation she revealed they were all Succubi who were here for unknown reasons. She however liked her new life since the high ranking demons often tortured the lower ones for their amusement, she showed multiple scars on her true form to back this up.
With that established the Party rushed to the Elders house and upon confronting the Wife she revealed herself to be the leader of the succubi and attacked with her flame-tongue blade. having a fierce battle before being slain by the party.
Following the defeat of the succubus leader the tutor called the one who killed them out and asked if they were going to kill the remaining succubi. upon it being revealed that she truely enjoyed teaching she was given permission to stay in the town as long as they behaved. THe succubi each gave the party rewards for their mercy.
