Guild Report - SL - Valkyra Bloodmane: Dragons of the Carribean

The guild received a letter from a woman named Lyla saying that her village Dragonsbane was under attack by Dragonborn pirates. I led a party consisting of a wood elf cleric named Atlas, a human fighter named Pelham, a halfling bard named Asparagus, and a human rogue named Jeff to investigate the attacks and stop the pirates. When the party arrived they approached through the beach attempting to sneak through, Pelham was caught by two guards but was able to keep them distracted while the rest of the party attacked. After killing the two guards the party made their way into Lyla's house. In it they found a hidden door. After Pelham swiftly broke down the door the party discovered an old longsword appearing to be an heirloom belonging to Lyla. The party then left to the elder's hosue where they found a letter addressed to Lyla, as well as a note from lyla saying to bring the sword to the tavern where she and the villagers were being held. Upon entering the tavern, the party watched as the captain took the village elder down to the basement and ordered his crew to keeo the party busy. The party swiftly dealt with the crew including the first mate and gave the sword to Lyla. Upon touching the sword Lyla transformed into a paladin, and the once rusty sword transformed into a dragonslayer sword.
  I stayed above to assist the villagers while the party accompanied by Lyla went into the basement. The basement stairs led to a giant underground temple where the pirate captain was resurrecting a giant undead dragon. The party killed the dragon and the captain and were all rewarded by the village elder.
