Guild Report - SL - Eyes in the Dark. {Bec - 20/02}

The brave party of Kahoos, Fuzzylumpkins, Jeffff, Asparagus and Phelm went talk to Dawn who runs the local tavern on Guildmast called "The Broken Mast". The Tavern is a outdoor beer garden style. A great place to star with a casual ales and a bite to eat. Dawn explains that the supplies from the nearby farming village of Guild Grove has not yet arrived and is now 1 day overdue. The party offer to go help but Dawn explains she has nothing to offer other than a free meal. After shooing away Swifty, Kahoos familiar eagle Dawn told them it's just on the worn path "you know the one that goes up the hill over to the east side". The party knew the track well but being night took a cautious approach. After going up the hill and down the other side they came across the broken bridge that all use to cross the river that runs over the hill. Kahoos established that the bridge fall was due to termites, now foul play was at afoot. The party noticed the bridge fell into a cavern below and went down to investigate. There they found a deceased Griff, one of the villagers under the wagon. The party decided to see if there was any survivors so continued to look around. Following in to a cavern they found the Ox that was pulling the cart. It was badly damaged but Phelm, having grown up around livestock knew how to calm the beast as the druid Fuzzy bought the Ox back to full health. Lucky Asparagus had put his dancing lights around because they found themselves surrounded by ghastly creates called Eye Stingers.
  Kahoos falling under its gaze only to be blinded. The rest of the party made quick work of the creates and continued on into another cavern. But not before harvesting some of the stinging fur from the creates. The Bard Asparagus had a lovely conversation with a bioluminesent mushroom who told him another human had passed though the same area. Phelm the brave fighter jumped into the stream running through the cavern to see how deep the water was. Only to attract brain sharks who attempted to bite and eat the party. Jefff flexed his barbarian muscles and took out one followed by Fuzzy burning them to a crisp. One was whole enough for Fuzzy to harvest some ooze from the outside of the brain shark while the others harvested teeth. They all jumped in the water and was swept away though a services of water slides only to be deposited back into a small stream not far from the Guild Grove village. It’s there they found Betty the other survivor from the crash. They all went back to the village for the night where she arranged for them to have a rest and some food. The ox in toe did not want to go back to a life of work and after Betty spoke with the Ox it was decided that it would now reside with Phelm.
