Guild Report - SL - Beware, Excessive happiness! {Daniel - 13/02}
General Summary
An SOS was received via guild hall in poorly written letter form from Paul, the huntsman and companion of Dorothea the Wytch.
It seemed that brother Andress of Southport was worried about the ongoing celebrations the villagers were undertaking, with farm and community work left untended and the villagers only interested in eating, drinking and dancing.
It took much investigation but our brave quartet of Barbarian, ranger and dual druids found a hidden temple underneath the inn, consecrated to an octopus-like demon. The ink it secreted was being added to the celebratory beverages and charming the village folk.
A battle ensued and right away Valkira and Tyrande found themselves entangled in tentacles and being drawn towards the evil being; however fearlessly their brave companions hacked away the offending limbs before concentrating their attacks on the body of the being.
Taking all the had to give with mighty slashes of the Barbarians axe, a barrage of arrows and a wild pack of wolves summoned to the cause, the demon fled with fear in its black heart, vowing silently to repay the pain inflicted on it.
The villagers partied on above ground, oblivious to the battle until the ink's affect wore off and they collapsed in exhaustion.
