19.03.24 Guild Report - SL - Ape on a Mission

The Party's day off is interrupted by an ape on a mission ! Wielding a scroll, jumping and throwing things it seems to have come from Agnes & Annie's boat. The ape stops dead in front of Injoz the Loxadon wizard and stares at him. Sterling the paladin casts speak with animals and it is explaned that the ape is actually a elven wizard called Dustin Everpetal and he has been follwing magic auras to find a powerful wizard to help him. The scroll he is holding is a greater speak with animals scroll which he has them cast so he can speak to the entire party. He explains his human apprentice seems to have gone mad and true poly morphed him into this ape. Dustin explains how they can help him and that he has treasured to pay them. They sail to his island which is a days travel with the help of the Warforged Monk Opal kicking behind the boat to push it. Once they arrive the party sees many abandoned boats and are overwhelmed with the voices of confused animals. All of which don't seem to understand what has happened to them. The party travel the rest of the daylight into the jungle towards Dustin's compound. They stay the night in a cast Tiny Hut safe inside. The Monk, Wizard and Paladin all hear the cries of help from animals while inside the hut. Opal the monk goes to investiagte and finds a tiny bunny asking if they can help her. The monk proceedes to bring the bunny into the hut only for the bunny to be repelled by the spell of Tiny Hut and almost dies. Once it reached zero HP the bunny transforms back into a small human child. The paladin runs out and gives HP back to the child but is still unconcious. The Paladin sleeps the night outside guarding the child.
  The next day they continue to Dustin's compound and Dustin and Zorin continue swining through the tress this time to be joined by Injoz who seems to also use his trunk to swing along. Guards where spotted outside the compound and after a breif battle it was discovered these guards were just the paid help and very stupid. They took pitty on them giving them the chance to run away and paid 1GP each to stay in their shelter and not come to the compound until they have left. Inside they find many curios items and they find the human apprentice weidling Dustin's staff of true polymorph and a amulet. A battle ensued seeing Dustin made unconscious and the staff and amulet returned back to Dustin. Injoz despite not being attuned to the staff was able to unpolymorph Dustin. He paid them with some treasure crystals and the party returned back to guildmast.
