02.04.24 Guild Report - SL -Toto, I've got a feeling we're not in Guildmast anymore !

Our players Sterling, Hal, Asparagus and Carrot woke up with a start in darkness, “What was that?” you think to yourself followed by “Am I dreaming? Where am I?” The air smells different, you smell different … YOU ARE DIFFERENT ! “AAAAAAAAAAHHHH” you exclaim loudly realising you are not yourself. You rub your eyes trying to make out the space you find yourself in. You see and dark silhouette ahead and hear a stern authoritative voice speak in your direction “Aahh, what wonderful timing you have. Here I was thinking we would have to wake you. Well well, here you are just in time for all the fun!’ You feel a jolt pulling you forward and hear deafening cheering. Once out in the open they see each other for the first time in their true polymorph forms, all telepathically bonded to each other. They are in a HUGE gladiator style arena in the Astral Plane and the stadium "seating" isn't seats at all but hunderads of astral spaceships all docked to watch the battle. Hal was a Blue Slaad, Asparagus a Balhannoth, Carrot a Chasme and Sterling was VRock. Through the first battle they fought the best the Astral Plane had to offer, 4 goon balloons, 2 clockwork horrors and 2 Neogi. Succeeding and being showered with praise and adornment from the crowd. They were pulled back into their dungeons where the "handler" wizard cleaned them up, healed them & gave them the benefits of a long rest only to hurl them back into the area for round two. This time they fought a Drider and two juvenile Asteroid Spiders. It was a very close call with Sterling almost going down but they managed to use their new found monster abilities to fight well enough to take them all down ! They woke back up in their beds at Guildmast with 300GP in their pockets and a boon specific to the monster they had been in the battle.
