Tushar Tarnakul (TOO-shar TAR-nah-kool)
A Resident
Tushar Tarnakul (a.k.a. Rian)
Tushar walks in circles—not aimlessly, but deliberately. He studies spiral formations in nature, the curve of riverbanks, the growth of vines. He believes life is not a line but a loop, and much of his craft follows that logic. His work often incorporates circular balance: carved wheels, domed structures, and layered mandalas.
He’s soft-spoken and deeply curious. He’ll ask questions long after most have stopped listening, and remembers the answers years later. He believes in small rituals—lighting a candle before every project, tracing old symbols in dust, whispering thanks to stone before carving. In him, memory becomes motion.
