Phra Phrom (PRAH-prom)
South-East Asian Deity
Phra Phrom
Phra Phrom, the Southeast Asian manifestation of Brahma, is the four-faced god of knowledge, fortune, and karmic balance. In the temples of Thailand and surrounding lands, he is revered by those seeking clarity, protection, and prosperity. Each of his faces sees in a different direction, granting insight into past, present, and possibility.
Though adapted from Vedic roots, Phra Phrom has become a local guardian—a god of crossroads, business blessings, and moral justice. Offerings of jasmine, golden elephants, and red candles fill his shrines. He watches not only what is done, but why it is done.
