Olikar Garem (a.k.a. Ollie)
Olikar speaks sparingly but sees deeply. A philosopher by inclination and training, he spends much of his time beneath a weather-worn fig tree where he maps thoughts into dirt before washing them away with water. He has no formal pupils, only those who wander into his quiet orbit and linger long enough to ask the wrong question. He prefers it that way.
He carries a set of carved tokens in a pouch at his belt—each one representing a concept he refuses to write down. When asked why, he simply says, “Ink binds things too tightly.” His philosophies are often circular, mirroring the ancestral Yamnaya patterns he’s fond of tracing in the sand with his heel.
Despite his slow, calm demeanor, Olikar’s mind moves in spirals: teasing, contradicting, returning to itself with unexpected insights. Some say he is difficult to follow. Others say he’s the only one worth following.
