Luwar Domovoi (a.k.a. Levi)
Luwar performs like a man remembering dreams—soft-voiced, expressive, and prone to improvisation. He reenacts folk tales with eerie accuracy, down to gestures and accents no one remembers teaching him. His stage is often the forest, the sea edge, or the middle of a village gathering. When not performing, he studies people’s expressions like pages in a book, jotting notes on scraps of bark. “Everyone is acting,” he says, “but only some know what part they play.”
