Harja
Harja was a young seer and healer in the Iron Age, living in a small clan nestled near the misty fjords of Upper Scandinavia. Known for his keen connection to the natural world, Harja was often sought after to interpret the omens of the sky, the whispers of the forest, and the patterns of the tides. Though he carried no blade and bore no scars of battle, his quiet wisdom and steadfast dedication to balance earned him the respect of his people. To Harja, the land was not just a resource but a living spirit deserving of reverence and care.
One fateful day, Harja set out alone into the mist-laden fjords to perform a sacred ritual, calling upon the spirits of the land to heal a blight that had crept into the fields. As he chanted and poured offerings into the icy waters, the ground beneath him gave way. He plunged into the depths of the fjord, his breath stolen by the frigid embrace of the sea. For a moment, there was only darkness, and Harja believed he had met his end. Yet when he awoke, he found himself in a place unlike any he had known—a land of eternal light and shimmering forests, where the air was alive with magic.
This was Tír na nÓg, the realm of eternal youth and harmony, and Harja soon realized he had been drawn here not by chance but by the will of the land itself. The guardians of Tír na nÓg recognized his purity of purpose and invited him to stay, to act as a protector and voice for the balance he had so fervently sought in life. Now, Harja roams the glades, fjords, and celestial groves of this otherworldly realm. Though his mortal life has passed, Harja carries the spirit of his people and his homeland within him, forever.
