Griflet (GRIF-let)
A Resident
Sir Griflet (a.k.a. Sir Griflet of Lyonesse)
Griflet was among the youngest to sit at the Round Table, eager to prove himself in the company of legendary peers. His courage was tested early in his knighthood, yet he rose to every trial with determination and honor. His loyalty to Arthur was absolute, his lance ever ready in the king’s service.
He stood at Camlann’s forefront, striking down foes with the fervor of youth until the retreat sounded. Taken aboard the Avalon craft, he lingered on the deck to watch the fading battlefield, silent save for the steadying breath of survival.
In Tír na nÓg, Griflet’s restless energy found new focus in the hunt, though the quarry here was never slain — only tracked, admired, and released. He became a skilled falconer, his bond with the keen-eyed birds echoing the loyalty he once gave to his liege.
His youthful enthusiasm mellowed over the years into a warm, approachable confidence, and he remains a welcome companion to travelers and newcomers alike.
