Génton Heris shapes stone not to tame it, but to reveal its breath. He prefers rough granite and river-worn limestone—materials that hold stories. His hands are wide, fingers thick, yet his carvings are fine and deliberate, bearing intricate spirals, flowing ridges, and sunburst tessellations. Despite his quiet demeanor, his work radiates warmth and humor—faces hidden in wall joints, stairways carved like winding vines. “A wall,” he says, “can be a song if you leave room between the stones.”
