Galehaut (GAL-oh-hawt)

Sir Galehaut (a.k.a. Galehaut of the Far Isles)
Galehaut’s story begins as an outsider to Camelot — a prince of distant isles whose first meeting with Lancelot turned rivalry into deep, unwavering loyalty. His towering frame and commanding presence on the battlefield were matched only by his eloquence and generosity in court. Known for acts of magnanimity, he could broker peace as readily as he could wage war.
When Avalon’s sails were readied to bear away the chosen after Camlann, Galehaut’s name was spoken alongside the wounded and the faithful. His departure was not born of mortal injury, but of the sense that Albion’s age of knighthood had drawn to a close, and his place was now among those who would preserve its memory.
In Tír na nÓg, he embraced diplomacy as his primary calling, becoming a sought-after arbiter among the isle’s diverse peoples. His gatherings — part salon, part council — became legendary for weaving together voices from every culture.
Away from the formal halls, Galehaut took to cultivating great gardens, where imported blossoms thrived in the ever-fertile soil. He spoke often of the Far Isles of his youth, but rarely with longing; here, he had found another home worthy of his loyalty, one where the bonds of friendship were as enduring as stone.
