Virun'sa - High Priest of the Tar'firna and Ruler of Karthan
The High Priest of the Tar'firna (Dragon Temple) is the head of both the religious sect as well as the ruler supreme of the last human city, Karthan. The High Priest is appointed to his post by the outgoing High Priest, and is generally chosen because of his or extreme devotion to the Dragons and the ways and pursuit of the Sun'vir. The High Priest holds office until death, therefore the sitting High Priest always appoints their favored follower to the seat of "The Appointed," who is always next in line to take the throne.
