The Three Fools
The Legend of the Three Fools, after which the three full moons are named, is an ancient story of which the origin is not known.
The tale tells of three men, an Elf, a Dragonite, and a Human, who went on a journey together long, long ago. The Elf was terrible with magic, the Dragonite could barely fly, and the Human didn't know how to make or fix anything. All laughed out of their respective communities, the three of them set off on a journey to try to fix what was wrong with them.
The legend goes that they came across a vast, mystical forest, where they heard the call of a helpless woman. Forever the heroes, our three men raced into the forest to help the woman, only to never be heard from or seen again.
The simultaneous fullness of all three of the moons of El'dor began to be called the Three Fools because the fools themselves entered into the forest under the bright light of all three full moons and if they'd only used their eyes to see rather than following their need to be heroes, they would have seen the gleaming red eyes and dripping fangs of the monsters waiting in the trees.
