The Appointed
The person who holds the seat of the Appointed is generally thought to be the one who has shown themselves to be the most devoted to the Dragons and the Sun'vir other than the High Priest. The High Priest appoints their favored follower to this seat, and the primary responsibility of the Appointed is to work as an assistant to the High Priest and to wait as the next in line to take the throne.
