Androids are a creation of the human kingdom of Torandria. Sometime during the Torn Wars, as humanity was growing in technological power by leaps and bounds, they perfected artificial intelligence and robotics. They created many learning machines which assisted them in battle, saving multitudes of human lives.
Humanity created the ultimate Android just before the end of the Torn Wars. They created the machine "Nova" and sealed it away beneath their ruined capitol city in the hopes that some day it would wake and follow its programming to save humanity.
