Heiwa
High Priest
A human male and High Priest for the Temple of the Ageless One in Sanjuro City. Having grown up in the shadow of the Kiri-Kawa-Oda War and coming of age during the ravages of the Oda-Kiri War, Heiwa focused on helping communities affected by warfare and preaching against the pettiness of the region's constant feuds. He allied himself with Headmistress Kyoko Hara of the city's Chusei University, believing in Kyoko's vision of a unified Northern Territories where conflicts are resolved through peaceful diplomacy in the great halls of Sanjuro City. He's worked with the adventurer Bubbles to create a haven for displaced Grung in the City, and despite their disdain for the Ageless One he became an ally of the Fortunate Five and vouched for them among the AO's ranks.
In the 930's he worked on a massive ritual to repel the advances of Atropus, an interplanar monster prophesied to bring death and destruction to Ekal. He channeled enough energy to banish Atropus back into the outer realms, but the physical exertion proved too much and he died from exhaustion in 938.
