Nosta

Nosta is a crossroads town in the Eastern Reach, halfway between Lacon and Lores. It’s a large trading town that is hardy and tough, and can take care of itself, and has many times in the past. They see more bandits from the southern hills and have sustained more assaults than any other town in the Kingdom. Caravans from the hills and beyond stop here as their most northern stop.   The town is situated in the middle of a forest and sits squarely at a crossroads along the well-traveled East Road, as well as at the northernmost reach of a busy trade road to the southern hills. There is also a road north that is much less traveled and leads to the small town of Fork .   Due to its long history of attacks from bandits, the kingdom has placed a larger guard presence as well as built a hefty wooden wall surrounding the town. A well guarded gate is at the intersection of each road, thus, there are four gates in and out of the large town.
