Traveling with the Gul druids 5

They stood in the fog, all here except Stormy.
Auri made an Origami Soldier to point to the nearest town/settlement but it didn't move. Nil flew in the sky till the fog felt so packed he couldn't move higher (I know realized that he wanted to see if they were in the same place and how far the fog spread.) He cast firebolt and blasted the fog away, seeing both total darkness and all the colors before the fog moved back.
He was on a rope and when he came down they used the rope to tie on themselves and move all together. Rasa cast find object on Stormy’s pack and the spell kinda merged with the soldier to make his weapon point to a direction so they followed it, only to find a bird cage with a mirror splitting it in half, Bird stormy on one side and flesh body stormy on the other.
They woke her up and tried to figure out how to get her out. Both bodies moved and spoke and stormy tried touching the mirror and it felt soft and then she pushed through all the way through where she was in a separate space for a moment and saw her spirit guide Titan and her bird-self there and he told her that he(the dog statute in front) protected her but she will be alright with her friends there. But to please be careful they can't lose any of them.
Then stormy was back as normal stormy, the mirror gone, an opening at the top but the cage still there. Nil flew in to pick her up but failed his rolls, nat 1 and a 3 ...... stormy fail her roll to just hang on to him with a 6.... Stormy just wrapped the rope around herself and the others outside pulled her out with a 22 check
Then the origami solider pointed again and they realized that the other stuck were here too.
First they come across Rian, who was on a pig pin petting area. his boar body was the only one awake and they talked him through his loneliest and the fact his mother Orla left him a a kid. They all tried to jump in to hug him but failed there wisdom saves, Rasa and Nil getting sadness feedback and only Stormy with a 24 getting in but not touching the ground hovering. She petted and hugged him. He went to his body and says he figured it out but he knows he won't be able to come with them, but he won't be used against them either. And with that, both half merge and he and the pen are gone.
Next is Nuala who is on edge and confused and scared but tired of running. She is soon gone after Auri gets some wisdom talk about running away not solving anything.
Next is Ka'hal who is stuck in a cage, his body separated by bars for him to get to. Nil reached his hand in to scratch his chin and said he wouldn't mind doing this to his human body (Ka-hal said everyone loved his dog form and not his human), which lead me to jokingly but also just didn't want the flirting to say "sorry, your not my type" enter Stormdevil, "do you like short girls?" (Rolled a 2 charisma so....) this followed everyone petting him and hitting on him. It was so.....weird. fun, but weird.
Eventually he is says, "I'm so confused, I've have never felt this wanted, but if 2 Teifling, a shorty and 2 tall boys say I'm good, maybe I am? Weirdest erotic dream I've had." Which killed everyone.
Then they found a cart with a sleeping cat, Nessa, and who wakes up and they have a conversation. She talks about the theory that the ones stuck are the lonely, the ones who have lost something so deep that it has left a hole in them for this thing to get in and strike. She also tells them that Killian was a wolf (Orla made the wolf pack because of him) and his death is what lead Orla to leave and go away from any civilization. Which just confused the group.
She was calm and helpful and asked them to be careful before going into the back of the cart and disappearing.
Finally they found a small camp with a human man sleeping, no animal in sight. When they woke him they noticed that he had chains on his hands and feet. He woke up for them to see shaggy black hair, deep brown eyes and the confused voice of Bo saying, "who are you and what are you doing here?"
