The Birth Of Pelor and Nydra

God Su'Ra, bringer of Order who kept the world lit, got into a bet with Mun, the God of trickery and phases like/of the Moon. Su'Ra won the first round, but Mun as Tricky as always turned the table to a tie and proposed another round to find what was better for the world, day or night. Over and over the rounds continued, Su'Ra winning only for Mun to start winning and ending in a tie.
It is this pattern that created the cycle of day and night.

Then one round Mun and Su'Ra both bet bits of their power to try and win. It was a trick of Mun to try and drain the power of the Sun and funnel it into the moon, but each bout still was a tie and the power just changed hands repeatedly. And then, all that power between the two exploded into a new light. Gentle and sweet as the first ray of dawn and twilight, and with that burst of light stood the twin gods Pelor and Nydra, reflections of both their parents powers and combined into new ways.   Pelor the bright light of change and new beginning, Nydra the constant reminder of the moon's light and the order of night. Balanced and Harmony, and above all a sweetness that neither Su'Ra or Mun possess. Born not out of a need or duty, but the share of power and respect for each other. Something that Su'Ra and Mun would both deny.

This is also the creation of the day night cycle and possible the myth of why the moon glows but in phases, though there are several myths of Mun that also explain why the moon has phases.   This Myth has it's origins in Eyant
