Temple Walkthrough 8

They entered the Hall of Prayer and were confronted by the Litch facing off with The Gardner and with an army of Skeletons, some huge and some their size.    The group split off, fighting off skeletons and attacking the Litch when they could. Rasa made a tangle weave of veins to ensnare skeletons while Stormy summoned a group of Wolves to attack another mob. Auri and Damaia hit standalone Skeletons with their weapons and magic while Nil used his reflexes to catch arrows coming at him and throw them back at the enemy.    It all came to a head with the litch, still not impressed with them, through out an ice attack at Nil when he attacked him with his fist, and a poisonous cloud in the direction of the others. When even though things didn't faze the group, the litch was visibly upset, especially when the Gardener took his axe to the litch. the litch touched him and the others could only watch as the life was draining out of their new friend's body. Luckily their new Buddy was strong enough not to fully succumb and be turned into a zombie, but he was clearly down for the round.    Everyone gave it their all, attacking with everything they had and finally Auri cut himself, sacrificing his blood to be able to cast one final Smite that took down the Litch.    The Litch roared in rage, but also in fear at his failure, he cursed the group and told them that he will love watching them fall in the end when it is time.    With that, the litch died, leaving only their cloak and a plie of bones.    The remaining skeletons went into a frenzy and attacked the group, but with the master dead the ones still up fell over shortly after their final attack.    The group could take a deep breath and heal, Buddy accepted their help and told them that if they had found a golden key, it would unlock the final room leading to the Gardens and his High Priestess that was waitting for them.
