Damaia pulled over and asked if he was okay. He replied that she really shouldn't have stopped, and then throw the thing he were holding to make everyone sleepy. The animals were all asleep. Everyone felt tired, but knew something was wrong. A quick fight broke out where they took down the bandits, killing one with two hits of guiding bolt. After tying them up, they check the pockets to find the dead guy had a locket and a letter of tax increase. after waking the other two guys up, they both told the story of turning to this line of work to get the money after a bad crop that year and the increase in taxes.   The group did take the item they had used on them, an item the leader of the group had bought the pervious year from an old court wizard that had moved into an old stone hut a couple of hours away. Damaia remembered seeing a hut like that and after waking up the horses they turned the cart around to find it. They made it to the spot and knew something used to be there but wasn't anymore.   They all got back into the cart and continued driving for the rest of the day and into the night. As the next day began they decided to go look for the town and lord that had ordered the tax increase.   They found the town in the afternoon and stopped at the bathhouse to clean up.
