Swashbuckler

Swashbucklers wear no armor and use speed and agility to avoid damage. They have a repertoire of dirty tricks to help them defeat their enemies. They can also feign death. Their opportunist ability allows them to use environmental items in combat. They can only use sabres, rapiers, and daggers.   Skills: parry, riposte, climb, swim, safe-fall 100
  • Dirty Trick (staggers enemy for 2 seconds)
  • Dirt in the eyes: throw dirt, sand, dust, etc in the target's face temporarily blinding them
  • Tumbling Escape: Tumble over a target's shoulder or between its legs to drop down on its hate list
  • Nick: nick the target with the tip of your blade causing a weak bleeding DoT, additional nicks stack
  • Distracting Jabber: taunt and annoy your target forcing it to attack you but decreasing its to-hit and defense
  • Fleet of Foot: your unarmored state leaves you mobile. You move at an increased speed during combat (+1% per level). You also gain a bonus to defense.
  • Mobile Fighter: if you move prior to attacking, you gain a bonus to attack, defense, and crit chance.
  • Feign Death: pretend to be dead, most enemies will ignore you
  • Wall Run: Can jump onto a wall and run along it for a few steps.
  • Arial Attack: swashbucklers can make an attack while flying through the air, either from leaping down from a high perch or from swinging off a rope, chandelier, etc. If the attack connects, it is an automatic critical hit.
At level 20, swashbucklers can begin the quest to unlock the Rogue title. At level 35 they can begin the quest to unlock the Dare Devil title, and at level 50 they can begin the epic quest to unlock the Blade Dancer title.
