Prison of the Deeps

The Prison of the Deeps is a submarine prison built to hold Terris the Dream Scorcher, a daughter of Thule who rampaged across Norrath in the Age of Scale sowing madness and living nightmares as she passed. The combined might of the dragons eventually overpowered her, and the god Prexus agreed to build a prison to cage her beneath his waters.   This prison, a stone ziggurat built on the floor of the Gulf of Uzun, is surrounded by insane Kedge (35-45). These kedge were originally guardians of the prison, but as Terris learned to cast her influence beyond the confines of the Ziggurat, these kedge were driven insane. Now they rove around the prison attacking anything that approaches.   Inside the prison proper, nightmare creatures made of dream-sand patrol (levels 65+).
