Loping Plains

The loping plains are a flat region of verdant, green grassland disrupted by sporadic fairy chimneys of dark gray rock (generally 15-30 meters in height). A large lake known as Lake Wayunder is found in the eastern stretch of the plains. The plains are bordered to the east by Ranthok's Ridge, an escarpment rising 150 meters above the plain which marks the western edge of the Faybright Forest; to the north by the Hills of Shade; to the west by the Dallian Mountains; and to the south by the Timorous Deep.   The western region is home to the Doombringer Orcs. The northern region is controlled by the Fleeting Clan gnolls. East of Wayunder Lake, the Red Wrath Minotaurs have a camp.   At night, gates to Faerie open in many of the fairy chimneys, and Unseelie fae ride forth.
