Forgotten Cavern of Nerevak

The Forgotten Cavern of Nerevak is located in the Deep Underfoot of southern Tharron. It is an enormous vault illuminated by a glowing yellow orb tens of meters wide. The orb floats high up in the chamber like a miniature sun. Its warmth feeds a verdant ecosystem of flora. The topography slopes downward to the east, creating a swampy morass that turns into a river that winds through the Underfoot on its way eastward to the Lost Temple of Thule.   The forested highlands to the west are home to the dark skinned Faraua Dwarves and their cliffside citadel: Farauadin. The swampy east is home to the Thulite lizardfolk known as the Iksar and their canal filled city, Cabalis. An island in the savannah covered center of the region hosts a city populated by undead gorillas loyal to the two headed giant gorilla called the Tangrin. The Tangrin is a powerful child of Thule that sleeps atop the temple at the city's center. The Iksar wish to awaken the Tangrin in hopes that it will rampage across the surface spreading fear in its wake. The Faraua send warriors to thwart the Iksar attempts at awakening the sleeping giant.   Various dinosaurs roam the cavern.

NPCs

  Pteranodon (65-67): Flying pterosaurs with a seven-meter wingspan that soar through the cavern. Op-aggressive. Social.   The Tangrin (90): a two headed gorilla standing some 50 meters tall. One head breathes out madness inducing poison. The other breaths lightning that causes those it slays to raise again as undead under the Tangrin's control.   Undead Gorilla Berserker (70-72): Undead gorilla berserkers that guard the Forgotten City. Aggressive to all including Thulites.   Undead Gorilla Priest (70-72): Undead gorilla Cleric of Thule. Aggressive to all including Thulites.   Undead Gorilla Warrior (70-72): Undead gorilla warriors that guard the Forgotten City. Aggressive to all including Thulites.
