Drinal

Drinal is the pale moon of Norrath. It has eight phases over a 28 day cycle (every 33 hours and 36 minutes). The moon rises every evening after dusk and sets just before dawn. On the night of the new moon, no moon is visible from the mortal world, but from the Spirit Realm, Drinal is visible as a bright annulus wreathing a dark circle.   Drinal has a strong connection with the Spirit Realm and is always visible there, even during the Norrathian day, but has no presence in Faerie. It has come to be associated with werewolves due to the madness it induces in those infected with Lycanthrope.
