Broken Skull Rock

Broken Skull Rock is an island in the Innothule Swamp. Unlike the other islands in the swamp, which rise only slightly above the brackish water, Broken Skull Rock is a limestone mound that rises high above the waterline. Its sides are cliffs rising straight up from the water. There is a narrow cove on the northern side of the island and a colossal skull has been carved into the cliff at the back of the cove. The upper right portion of the skull broke off some time in the past, giving the island its name. The mouth of the skull sits at the waterline, and small boats (or swimming trolls) can enter the cave within the island this way.   The caves within the rock are the home of the Ykesha Renegades and their demonic servants summoned from the Plane of Hate. The caves are a dungeon for levels 18-30. The caves lead up to the basement of an ancient, crumbling keep built atop the rock. This keep is home to the highest level trolls and demons. It is a dungeon for levels 28-38.
