Raven Rock

Raven Rock is a frontier town, located on the southen coast of the island that houses the College. It was originally a mining settlement built a few dozen years before the Rune Wars. By the Rune Age however, it started to die and become a ruin as its mines dryed up and most people returned to the main continent.   Nowadays, due to the fact all trade must flow through Raven Rock since it is built in the only bay of the otherwise rocky-shored island, the presence of the magi revitalized the dying settlement and transformed it into a booming trading town that prospers on the back of the ships that come and go to trade with the College. Still, abandoned homes and derelict stores remain as a sore remainder of its once failing past.   The name of the port come from its proximity to the black stoned citadel where, now, the magi reside.
