Moreen

Moreen is the niece of the ruler of the Principality of Lothlorin, Princess Wynne Astley. Her mother, Janey Astley, is the younger sister of former ruler Renias Astley, and daughter of Barnaby Astley. As Janey was the younger of the 2 Astley siblings she wasn’t as pressured to prepare for leadership of the nation and instead was free to do something of her own choice. Because of this, when Renias died, she refused to take on the mantle of Princess, preferring to continue her academic exploits, and the title passed on to Wynne.   This led to her daughter, Moreen, growing up in the palace in Lorrenveil with everything she could ever want, and without any pressure of being the next ruler in line. Like her mother Moreen was free to choose what she wanted to do with her life and, again like her mother, she choose to pursue academics. Moreen likes nothing more than reading books, especially ones related to History. She wants to know as much about the past as possible, and contribute by discovering new things and adding them to the historical records. Despite her young age, Moreen has already started making a name for herself in the field of history with her impressive knowledge, although she has not made any serious contributions yet.   Moreen is also the only person that Princess Wynne would make a lot of time for. Despite an age difference of 12 years the 2 of them get along great and are considered not just family, but best friends. Wynne would do almost anything in order to make her niece smile. The special royal necklace that Moreen can always be seen with was a birthday gift from Wynne herself.     Personality   Moreen is a young, enthusiastic, and kind girl that gets along with most people. She is naturally very curious which can sometimes lead to her showering people she never met with questions out of simple and genuine interest. Moreen is generally very pleasant in conversation, and if she meets fellow researchers (or simply interested people) she will often engage in friendly intellectual debates and discussions. Moreen does not have the same composure as most Astleys however. She is a bit Twitchy, and when she gets nervous or exited she can be seen fiddling around with her necklace a lot. She is also scared of and hates any kind of violence.
