Arnold Fangals

Born to a rich family of merchants in the Eiken kingdom, Fangals was a human who always loved to venture outside, enjoyed trips to the plains, and told outrageous stories on his "adventures". While learning his family trade, he took an interest in writing and cartography When old enough, he moved to Castilla's capital, where he continued his family's business and partied almost every day (taverns around the city knew about him). One day, he claimed, that life was good but he felt like he had forgotten his love for exploration, that he was stuck doing what his parents wanted and not so much what he wanted.   After this revelation, he decided that he wanted to see the world, so he used his wealth to venture across the Agera, visiting the forests and tribes of the Iboken people, then enjoying the bazaars and Ice baths in the scorching hot Sanmari deserts, and enjoyed the serenity and great art and music in Xendir. As he traveled, he kept a journal, detailing his experiences, and drew maps and drawings (with the help of experts) of the places he went to, and when he got back to Castillia, he was pushed by his friends to publish his travels. With the help of some connections, his journal entries and drawings were distributed to the public and gained him notoriety for his captivating descriptions of the places he went to. With his popularity on the rise, he thought he had found his calling, so he decided to explore the rest of the world and the unknown.   In his early 30s, he traveled all around the world, used his connections to find rarely explored places, and detailed his journey along the way, which he then sent back to Castillia to have them distributed. People across the world loved reading his adventures and tales, inspiring many to take up adventuring and exploring thanks to Fangals romanticization of adventure, and songs were made telling his tales. He wasn't without fault though, as he would take credit for some of his findings, navigation, and drawings, and he was also kinda weird to women (you can see it in his journals, but it's not obvious), but these criticisms are drowned out by his praises.   He retired at age 41 to a mansion in Castillia and passed away at 52. Even after his death, many still sites his work and his songs are still popular within adventurer guilds.
