Eclipse City Night Watch

The Eclipse City Night Watch was a volunteer-based organization formed in the early days of Eclipse City to provide security and maintain order during the nighttime hours. Comprised of local citizens, merchants, and former soldiers, the Night Watch patrolled the streets, responded to emergencies, and acted as a deterrent to criminal activities. Operating with minimal resources, they relied heavily on community support and the dedication of their members to keep the city safe.   Notable members of the Night Watch included Alexander Crane, a retired military officer who became the de facto leader and organizer, and Margaret O'Connor, a respected community leader who advocated for the formalization of the Night Watch into a structured police force. Together, they laid the groundwork for what would eventually become the Eclipse City Police Department (ECPD).   STORYTELLER SEEDS   Discovery of the Hidden Cache: Players stumble upon clues leading to the long-forgotten cache of weapons and supplies, revealing a potential resource for their current mission or a historical mystery to solve.   Revival of the Network: A crisis prompts the reactivation of the Night Watch’s underground network, requiring players to navigate old alliances and new threats.   Unrecorded Deal Exposed: A hidden deal from the past surfaces, causing tension between the ECPD and the descendants of the Night Watch members.
