Peripatetic Priestess

Peripatetic Priestesses are itinerant members of The Faith of the First Mother who travel from town to town in order to preach, teach, and heal. Though respected by many, Peripatetic Priestesses are shunned by some. They have a penchant for causing sexual awakenings wherever they go, a predilection frowned upon by ultra-conservative and oppressive regimes the world over.

Purpose

Peripatetic Priestesses use their facility with potion-making and sex-related magics to aid small and far-flung communities without local covens of their own. They preach the gospel of their Faith, but only to those who ask. And they provide sex education to communities struggling to provide such services themselves.

Qualifications

In order to serve as a Peripatetic Priestess, one must have:

  1. Completed their First Touch
  2. Apprenticed to an established Peripatetic Priestess for a period of not less than 3 years
  3. Been deemed “ready to serve” by their mistress

Payment & Reimbursement

Peripatetic Priestesses rely primarily on the kindness of strangers for food and shelter. Though they are not forbidden from accepting money in exchange for their good deeds, most shun such gifts. All but a few will donate whatever coin they have before leaving one town for the next.

Those who do not donate their modest wealth before hitting the road are typically planning for some larger act of charity down the line.

Career Progression

While most Peripatetic Priestesses wander for the duration of their careers, some become so beloved in a certain community that they eventually settle down and opt to serve in one place for the rest of their lives.

Indeed! I wrote a whole article about it at some point in the last couple of years. The Council of Five decided it should be compulsory for all citizens of Eden.

My request is for a priestess who looks like Gillian Anderson! (In the show "Sex Education". I have found that my comments are funnier (and more clever) when I explain them!)

Oh, this has to happen now. Like, I'm tempted to throw out my plans for the day to make this a thing.
